Levi's big day!

A few weeks back Levi had an eye DR's appointment for his annual check! His vision has improved slightly, we are thankful! Levi has been asking for contacts for a while so during the appointment we asked the DR. We didn't tell Levi before hand, because he is only 8, but Levi's little eyes lit up! The DR said he had NO problem prescribing kids with contacts! We had to wait a week for the contact to come in. At the appointment Levi panicked and I thought the "contact Lady" would give up on him. But she didn't! She was SO patient with him and spent almost an hour with him.

Levi immediately wanted a pair of sunglasses, something he has never gotten to wear! Well, Daddy told him that he has to be able to put in and take out his contacts all by himself to earn sunglasses! Levi can take them out with NO problem. He is still working to put them in by himself but on Sunday he did it! I was so proud of him.

He LOVES having his contacts and can't wait to put them in every morning! He is still getting used to not being able to rub his eyes so occasionally one pops out. We have lost one this way but so far so good!

It was certainly Levi's BIG DAY!!
